Close concentric millefiori with six rings of millefiori canes in deep purple, green, pink, and white around a pink Clichy rose; fourth ring contains twenty-one pink Clichy roses; fifth ring contains thirteen white Clichy roses; pedestal column of blue and white staves; gilded metal foot (see side view and QTVR) engraved "ESCALIER DE CRISTAL 1845;" (The Escalier de Cristal was a novelty shop in Paris; the mount could have been added at any time)
