Chuck would like to get married, but in the middle of a depression that's not an easy choice. I'm lucky. I have a job at Oak Park Library. I make a hundred dollars a month, but I turn that over to Mom and Dad.

I don't know how they'd get along right now without that.

Mom is wonderful at budgeting. She takes that little bit of money and we have incredible meals.
