"Elvis Presley," Radio Corporation of America, RCA Victor
"Joe Houston," Tops Music Enterprises, Corp., New York, Los
Angeles, Chicago
No teenager's collection of albums was complete without at least one recording by the king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley. This album includes several of the idol's chart-busters, including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Tutti Frutti," and "Blue Moon." Joe Houston, "Wild Man of the Tenor Sax," could get into "a solid groove" and, as the album cover describes, "blow away inhibitions" with his "raw, primitive, rhythmic patterns."
