Migration occurs in response to some definitive
cause because men tend to migrate in response to a rational
impulse which is also, of neccessity, powerful enough to break
the yoke that binds men to specific localities.

Rational impulse
- Rational--to use reason when making a decision; to weigh the
odds and make the best choice you can.
- Impluse--an action that is the result of powerful
feelings.
Specific locality
- Your neighborhood, city, or town is a specific locality.
- List 5 things that you love about where you live.
These are ties that bind you to your home and would make it
difficult to leave.
