A collage is a selection of words, pictures, drawings, and/or objects arranged in overlapping patterns to cover a sheet of tagboard or poster paper. These pictures, words and/or drawings represent an idea or theme such as a story, music, travel or a dream. The words and/or pictures may be drawn, written or cut carefully from a magazine or newspaper. Other interesting items which you might like to include in your collage are pieces of wallpaper samples, fabrics, postcards, maps, greeting cards, wrappers or labels from food, catalogue advertisements and so on. When finished, your collage will completely cover the surface of your tagboard.
